MCKINLEY HIGH SCHOOL - 1915 YEARBOOK
Unfortunately, we don’t have the June yearbook issue, which means that James’ senior year and David’s junior year are missing. All we have is The Voice’s January, 1915 Semi-Annual edition.
* If you think you may have the missing 1915 yearbook, please try to locate it so we can add it here. *

The three excerpts below come from the January, 1915 issue.
The first, which mentions Horace, comes from a page titled “Alumni Notes.”
The second is about George Petty, who returned to McKinley at the invitation of one of his former teachers to speak to his class as a part of a series that “...allows the graduates and under-graduates to get up and recite some experience they have had in battling the world, or some topic of the day concerning the welfare of the pupils and the school.”
The third item announces the formation of a new featherweight basketball league for high school boys under 115 pounds. Information about David in his senior yearbook indicates that he played on McKinley’s featherweight team as a junior.

This photograph of the 1915 McKinley High School featherweight basketball team was among assorted old photographs in a box of Dave Mason's memorabilia.
