Cincinnati, Ohio
Arrived on time, feeling first class. Have just returned to depot after a successful hunt for supper. A very bright, pleasant day, through a flat monotonous country to Delphi, then through hardwood forests with saw mills at every station, becoming quite hilly and broken as approached Cincinnati. Had dinner in dining car with finger bowls. Tonight I have my first experience in sleeping car. Wonder if I can rest. Tell Ralph this is a great country for pigs, sheep, cattle, and colts. Also saw a few ducks, chickens, and turkeys, and here in Cin street cars drawn by mules. Yours, RJ Mason |
